A fun race anyone can DU!


2017 Duathlon launches us into the next decade with the DU!   This Epic Race is now in it’s 11th year and is just getting better.  We have the same great line up as last year:  something for every level of athlete.   Food, music, and a kids activity area to make it festive and even more family friendly will be around this year again!


1-mile run, 2-mile ride dirt road dash

3-mile trail run, 8-mile mountain bike

6-mile trail run, 14-mile mountain bike

Adult Race Divisions:
Women’s Division
Men’s Division
2-member relay team (1 runner, 1 biker)

Need a Teammate? Call us – we’ll pair you up with someone!

Race routes integrate beginner and intermediate levels of single-track trails, dirt and gravel roads. The venue of the San Juan National Forest is off-road racing at it’s best!


ACVAP operates under a special use permit with the San Juan National Forest and is an equal opportunity provider.

Dusty Kids Start 7:30 a.m.

*Early Registration Ends June 3oth.  Adult race prices increase $10 starting July 1st thru race day.

*Student Discount $10 off any adult race entry fee (School ID Required)  Code: student

ACVAP Fundraiser


Violence is a dirty word!  The Pagosa Duathlon is an annual event held to raise funds for the Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program (ACVAP) in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.     "Thank you!  To all of our Sponsors, volunteers and participants!!!!  We had an amazing event on Saturday all thanks to all of you and your commitment to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We had 126 people come out and get Dirty and the DU and raised over $7,000 to continue services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in our county.  AMAZING!
